Assassin’s Creed Origins’ Map is Huge, Plus More Details

One of the biggest games to come out of this year’s E3 was Ubisoft’s leaky Assassin’s Creed Origins. It was the one of the most talked about games online during E3 week, and since then it’s been the hot topic of conversation just about everywhere.

GameInformer recently had the chance to go hands-on with Assassin’s Creed Origins and to pick the brains of the team behind it. We’ve learned that Assassin’s Creed Origins will be the biggest game in the series yet, and that the previous game, Syndicate, was less than 10% of Origins’ size. Wowza…

It’s a big world, then, but getting around it will be fairly easy thanks to the ability to drive chariots. You won’t just be driving them, though, as you’ll be able to use them as weapons to knock enemies from their mounts. What you won’t be able to do is just drive up a pyramid. No, you’ll have to climb those suckers yourself.

According to Ubisoft, ascending the great pyramids will not be an easy feat. The developers states that they’ll take time and effort as you’ll have to solve navigation puzzles in order to reach the summits. Sounds at least a little more interested than just scurrying up a wall and pressing a button…

Assassin’s Creed Origins will feature more than just one city. There will be a few major cities, according to Ubisoft, and Alexandria is one of them. The city of Alexandria will be a little more familiar to players as it’ll have a proper city feel to it, whereas others will be more chaotic with little to no order in them. So they’ll all feel a little different in their own ways, basically.

There’s also a great focus on making Assassin’s Creed Origins an RPG, much to the dismay of some fans online, and here at Absolute Xbox for that matter. Expect to spend hours grinding to level up, otherwise you’ll be smacked around like a three-legged puppy. Fun…
