It tells the tale of Geralt of Rivia, a witcher and monster hunter who is investigating the murder of a king. It’s a fascinating game by a fascinating Polish development studio, with tough combat that’s not for the faint of heart.
According to Digital Foundry, who analyze the performance of video games across all systems, The Witcher 2 does rather well on Microsoft’s backwards compatibility emulation solution, with high quality performance in cutscenes and only minor framerate drops in combat compared to the game running natively on an Xbox 360.
